My twin is a dope. Does he really think that he fooled anyone? From the comments I've heard since coming back, it would have been smarter to just leave ... except I was afraid they'd think I had dropped out. I really do like it here. I want to learn wizardry, it's the most wonderful thing imaginable. I don't want anything to keep me from it.
Something strange happened today. We got a new student in the first form. A transfer student. That's not supposed to happen, but I guess because it is the first year, the faculty decided to make an exception? Or maybe it's because not all the spaces in the first form were filled this year - I know that some of us third formers weren't assigned to mentor anyone, myself included. I actually was glad I wasn't assigned anyone, it meant I could spend more of my time studying, but .... Lucky me. I'm here, she's here, we both need to catch up with the our respective classes so ... Professor Fife assigned me to mentor this new girl. Tiamar Cawthorne. She's only a year younger than me, even if she is two classes below. Guess she's a late bloomer or something. Anyway ... so much for home by Solstice.
