Not Na Gurnaidh - Jared speaking

Oct 25, 2012 22:46

Man is this one dorky netbook computer. (If you don't want to use it ... ) No. No, it's fine, I'm just saying is all.

Okay, what happened to me. First, my dorky brother ... who can turn you into a toad at any time, remember ... Yeah? And I can can noogie your head anytime, toad or not.

... Jared is unable to continue this post, so I'll take over ... ewww, that's gross! There! You look much better in a glass jar. *clears throat* Right. Jared totally misunderstood my attempt to keep him apprised of the situation and assumed, for no reason at all, that I was requesting his assistance, which I most definitely was NOT. He then proceeded to ... HEY! ...

Serves you right, thanks Tavsh. HA! Never mess with a guy who has a dragon-mage in his pocket!

Anyway, as I was saying ... When my weaselly twin asked me for help, I immediately agreed, whereupon I found myself in that dorky school he attends where everyone is just plain weird. They actually make him look pretty normal. I was doing a pretty good job of faking them all out ... What? Oh, Tavsh was helping me with the magic stuff, couldn't have done it without him. Or Thimbletack, who's still back there, holding down the fort.

So, anyway, I was doing pretty good when Simon suddenly appeared in my bathroom mirror. First time I've ever seen a mirror steamy on the inside. He told me that he had lost Uncle Arthur and he had lost a pink cat (which makes even less sense now that I know it was a dragon). Knowing my brother as well as I do, I knew that he needed help, so me and Tavsh took off to find him. It's dead easy to get into Underhill from Aldwyns. Tavsh had cast a tracking spell using one of Simon's socks. We were just passing through, pretty much minding our own business, when those goblin guys jumped us. I still don't know what was up with them. (You were.) Huh? (Never mind. And, by the way, Tavsh ... turn him back. Yes, now. NOW! You don't want me to tell Mgr Ki about this, do you? That's better. Thank you.)

... I'm going to get you for that, you jerk! ...

(and once again, fighting. I'm putting the notebook away now.)
