Well, that backfired
Ever since I hit the Change, I find I have less tolerance for being overly warm; so I dress in layers. When I am going anywhere with my husband driving, I under-dress for the season because I know that he will want the car warmer than I do. This I did today, wearing a sweater instead of a cape or coat. I felt quite comfortable. But when he noted that the temperature outside was registering as 19 F, I foolishly commented that I had definitely underdressed for the weather.
He took that to mean that I felt cold.
He gallantly turned up the heat. I didn't notice. Not until I started feeling over-heated and sick.
Note to self, early morning drives - do NOT make idle conversation.
