Achull - a' choille = the woods
Barnakill - barr na coille = top of the woods
Ballakill - baile na coille = town of the woods
Carnakell - carn nan coille = stone cairn in the woods
Dunkel - Dun coille = forest fort
Kilcool - cill coille = forest cell (as in hermit's home)
Harnskill (which probably should be Killarney - Coille Hearne = Hearn's wood)
