Concerning the eggs which Drusilla Angelschilde had left the other night, we managed to locate the scroll to which they belong and arranged transport to a secure facility. Three of them hatched during their stay here, indicating that they are well recovered from their early neglect. The other is in fine shape and should hatch within the next day or so.
Simon continues to pay close attention to the vampire hatchling; he sits for hours staring at it inside the protections around it. While he is there, Volitak Nuva watches him. This is all the more disturbing because Simon's twin, Jarod, has already left for his school and so Simon is on his own. (I have mentioned before that the two are identical twins, have I not? Despite this fact of genetics, they neither look nor act at all alike. Very puzzling.)
Jonah's dorsal, l8Ym Piraka-battera Nuva, refuses to leave the holding pen. Rau Nuva claims that she (Piraka-baterra) feels that the Holding Pens make a fine bat cave. BAT CAVE! hmph! I assure you, there are NO bats in the dragon pens or bays whatsoever. (Not that there could be, some of our dragons enjoy meals on wings, after all.) As for the other three of Jonah's dragons, apparently they are now calling themselves "The Scoobies". (In which case, I know which one is Daphne!) Did you know that there is a pizza specifically for dragons? Neither did I, but I tell you that if one particular surfer-dude dragon doesn't stop ordering it on MY tab, he's going to be the worse for it!
It has been confirmed that Athadora Darkspell has been seen in the neighbourhood. OTOH, also reported to be in the surrounding area are zombies, vampires, haunts, demons and ghosts, if you believe in that sort of thing. Most of these so-called sightings put them near the area called Bellnifling.
Well, I suppose, that's the place for nightmares, if ever there was one. The old name for the place was Beul na h-Ifreann - The Mouth of Hell.
