I am pleased to announce that Jonah's eggs, which were affected by the poltergeist activity, have all hatched healthy and whole. There are four new eggs in the hatchery, new in more than one sense. Not only are they newly acquired, but they also seem to be new breeds. It is heartening to see new breeds returning to lands which were once barren and destroyed by the over-weening pride exhibited by our ancestors.
Less heartening is the news from the sickroom Simon's fever has gone higher. He is raving in delerium, protesting in shouts that he 'won't do it'. More ominously, there is also significant boggart-like activity both in the sickroom and near-by. (Boggart activity is far more dangerous, volitile and destructive than mere poltergeist activity. -Arthur) We've had shields erected to protect Simon and those taking care of him - and boggart-proofed the room to the best of our ability. Curiously, most of the violence seems to be directed AT Simon rather than BY Simon.
