I just found out that the minor imp - the Druid son - who had his first day returning to school today does not again return until TUESDAY! So why didn't they just HAVE them go back on Tuesday? He told me when he came in after school and I called the school to confirm and it was so, but the person at the desk knew not why. I welcomed her to her new job (they had hired her this year) and rang off again. ah well. this is life.
Now I gotta find a way to tell my partner who was feeling most pleased that he wasn't the only one who had to go off to drudgery every day.
