Nanowrimo 2016 - progress update

Nov 22, 2016 12:07

As of yestereve, 21 Nov. 2016, I have saved 42139 words to file on the story. (I don't count words that I scribe and do not keyboard into a text file).

I have 88 handwritten pages of text.

There are 8 days left to write the 7861 words remaining in the November challenge. I figure I have at most 2 chapters left of Interlude (Part 2) of the story An Dannsa Sìth. Part 3 (Crìoch-sgeòil, end story) will be the most difficult to write - part of it will take place in Faerie. And it will introduce a' Bhaintighearna nas uaisle Faileas an Rè ri Aodann Aibheis fo Dhubhar Gèige an Craoibhe-seilich, aka Sally, the Faerie Princess, which I will admit, I'm rather dreading. Hard to get into the head of someone so alien.

Anyway, that's the update and a brief peek at what I expect.

Today I spent my writing time doing some tidying up in anticipation of Thanksgiving preparations. So, no progress today.

Also, I have rosemary sap-tar on my fingertips from harvesting dried rosemary needles. Luckily, it is one of my favorite scents because I don't think I'm going to get it all off anytime soon.
