Na Gurnaidh - Winter Break
Yesterday was .... ridiculous. Jonah went out to turn the new Valentine eggs and immediately ran back in, yelling that they'd disappeared. Well, I thought that perhaps the automatic daypen mechanism had been turned on, things have been a bit topsy-turvy since the kids arrived, and if it had, then the eggs MIGHT have been put in the next pen, but ... it hadn't. We hunted around a while until Arthur came in to see what the fuss was. When we told him, his response was to ask where the kids were. They were in the game room playing Mousetrap ... Simon, Nikita, Catori and Oscar. No Hill. Catori told us that she (Hill) was in the village helping Madame Sempster. Which she was.
HOWEVER ... the eggs were in the bag. *eye-roll*
She said "They're so SHINY!" as if that explained everything. (According to Arthur, it does.)
Jonah has turned on the alarum circuit, but I've explained exactly WHY we don't move the eggs, so I doubt it will happen again.
