... the Magi left the castle, heading for the village where Gaspar planned to take advantage of after-the-holiday sales. Melchior and Balthazar were (quietly) discussing the possibility of tying him to Haga the camel, Sophia's mother, in order to get through the village in record time. Neither want a repeat of the year wherein they almost missed their deadline.

Strega Befana thoughtfully watches the departure of the Magi, while the royal court return to their own mid-winter festivities within.
