Na Gurnaidh Update - Official action

The local authorities swore out a warrant based on the information that the students of Aldwyns and MacCumhail provided, raided the location and found ...

Nothing.

A basement level storage room filled with boxes. No cages. No machinery. No labcoat-suited forms walking around with clipboards and ipads. No camo-wearing brutes carrying automatics.

The boxes contained ordinary goods and supplies; the owner of the warehouse insisted that they had been there for a while. He claimed that they did have a break-in on Oidhche Shamhna, which he didn't report at the time because no harm was done. A bunch of kids, he said, whom his night-watchman scared off. He suggested that perhaps the scare the watchman gave them was the source of the kids' accusation of a secret paramilitary group.

I had a chat with Peace Officer Seymour; he said that if it weren't for the reality of Til, Liam and Maddy, they'd suspect that the students involved had made the whole thing up. But you can't argue that those three young people have been missing for months, nor that they show signs of long-term abuse. Furthermore the accounts they've given so far ... the interviews they have insisted on giving despite medical advice ... all agree with what the students claim.

Peace Officer Semour has put in a request for a full forensic CSI team.
