Na Gurnaidh Update - POTS?

Jul 10, 2014 16:58

I've been asking around and not really getting any definitive answers. According to those who have the signs up in their shops, the "P" and "O" of "POTS" stands for "person of". On that everyone agrees. I've been told that the "T" stands for "transformation", "transformational", "transient" and even "tricksy". There is a similar vagueness as to the meaning of the "S"; some saying it means "shape", others "size" or "skill", and not a few claiming "that's just the plural". A lot of people don't know WHAT the letters stand for, but they know what it means.

The Good Neighbours

Folk with whom we've been co-existing since before the Valley WAS the Valley. Before the Dragon Reserve was established. Folk who stood side by side with our ancestors when the dragons came calling for dinner - and three guesses what was on the menu.

I made my opinion of this known, which has resulted in some of the signs being amended with the words "or Mgr Ki" but as I'm not about to patronize ANY establishment that has so blatant a policy of prejudice and bigotry, it's a moot point.

Enough gloom and doom, though. I'm pleased to report that Jonah has taken into care one of the rare guardian dragons, and not before time, too, imho.

He worries that the egg's presence here has something to do with the situation in the Valley, but that's sheer folly. He has the egg because he deserves it - he is well worthy of such an exquisite creature.
