I have an older brother
Only one. Five younger brothers, but only one older. He was a cool brother - okay, he could be a cruel brother, but he never was to me. When I broke up with my first boyfriend, he consoled me with the loan of his complete Sherlock Holmes. When I went away to college ... well, never mind.
Like me, this brother has cut out sugar from his diet and most wheat products - so sending him cookies (or any other homebaked goods) ... is neither kind nor thoughtful.
He liked the trail-mix well enough, but it didn't really thrill him.
He gets all the hand-knit gear he needs from ...'friends' (I don't ask, he doesn't tell).
His birthday is the 11th. So, what do I give him? Doggie treats, doggie chews and one stuffie (for the one who's housebound). I just posted the package, now I wait to see if I got it right. (this time)
