Dialann - more classics in Gaelic

Mar 01, 2014 16:17

I'm feeling rather pleased atm. Today I found Homer's Trojan War in Gaelic. Also something called "the Story of Aeneas" but it's barely a few chapters long, and I WELL remember from Latin that the Aeneid is longer than THAT! Also found a few other stories and things, including something that might be a Gaelic retelling of the Sorceror's Apprentice (called the Wizard's Gillie).

And for the record, I am absolutely THRILLED that the predicted 8 inches of snow Monday has been reduced to a 10% chance of snow showers!! My sympathies to those of you who will still be hit by the storm.
