Story research - full & dark moon Halloween

Full moon Halloweens = these correspond to the phases in "A Night in the Lonesome October", they occur at 19 year intervals. Interestingly enough - there are 2 full moons in October these years.

1898 <= the year in which A Night in the Lonesome October is set
1917 <= Night/ October year
1936 <= Night/ October year
1955 <= Night/ October year
1974 <= Night/October year
1993 <= Night/October year
2012 <= Night/ October year
Dark moon Halloweens = there are two dark moons in October for each of these years EXCEPT 1978
1921. (The punctuation marks on two years indicate possible candidates for a happening in the story I'm thinking on).
