Today I finished the first of a pair of Harry Potter themed mittens - the left hand mitten. On the palm is written (knit)

The right mitten is to have the words

I will have to be careful and mindful when I work on the right mitten because ... I, ummm, didn't exactly follow the pattern when I wrote the words down. I had a reason to change the order of the charms. I just have to remember what I did.
Today, I also took my every-day bike in to have a tyre (inner-tube) changed - I found it flat when I went to go cycling Tuesday and I'm not exactly trusting the old bike - the tyres look dry-rotted to me and I would hate to be some distance from home when they blow. Been there, done that, got the sunburn thank you.
