(no subject)
yay for dr. hyman! yay for beautiful days!!! yay for being almost near the end of my exhausting 48 hours!!! yay yay yay!!!
and also, i realized the other day how extremely funny it is that a women's studies teacher here is named dr. hyman. ha. does that strike you as particularly funny, too? at any rate...she cancelled class today because we all looked "like deer in headlights" mid-way through mid-terms. so she gave us the day off to revise our paper that was due today and said we could turn it in wednesday. get awesome. because it's already done (i have yet to turn something in late this semester, go me!!!!) and i will actually be able to revise it, something i've NEVER done with papers before.
meanwhile, back at the ranch, i still have to finish my nabokov paper. but it's 2/3rds finished, and the first thing i've written in my college experience that i've actually felt brilliant about. so yay to that.
oh, and i have a test tomorrow in space, time, and god. which has me worried. BUT. i'll make it through decently. i don't expect to do awesome or horrible in that class, just meh. which is FINE.
otherwise, life is great. i had a REALLLLY depressed weekend, but i know why now, and i think i can turn things around. just a matter of getting to it somewhere in my busy schedule, i guess. what do you do when you've no time to fix bad things in your life? i guess ignore them until you can. but yea. so yay.
