I'm watching Cheetah Girls 2 on Disney right now (please don't ask me why) and, in the commercial break, they show a clip of one of the songs from High School Musical called "I Don't Dance", which is performed on a baseball field, much like "Getcha Head in the Game" from the first HSM. But, they put in clips of real baseball players saying (thankfully not singing) the name of the song. So you've got Jake Peavy, Brian McCann, Craig Biggio, and Jeff Francouer (for example...there were more) saying "I don't dance". And then I died laughing and realized I should really stop watching Disney Channel so much. But it at least cheered me up after a crappy day.
Sadly, as I grew up in Virginia in the late 80s/90s, my first memory of Phil Rizzuto is not watching him play, or hearing him call games. No, my first memory of him is from "Billy Madison" where Ms. Vaughan asks him to spell his last name in cursive on Baseball Day and he doesn't know how to write cursive "z"s, so it looks like "Rirruto" instead. Thankfully, I learned more about him in the following years. Rest in peace, Scooter, and have fun playing with Joe, Billy, and the Mick.
