Last night out with my coworkers was really, really fun. We all met up at BW3's in Mayfield Hts and had dinner and drinks. The service was absolutely deplorable but the food was decent. People kept filtering in up until 11 and the bar was really hopping, which was nice to see. I really enjoy spending time with my coworkers. They are, for the most part, my age, married, no kids or very young kids and like to get out not stay at home and rot. I like getting out and feeling my age as work tends to drain us of energy. I know that I will make every effort to get hubby & I out with friends even when we have kids and work. I see the benefits of time together and with other grown ups - without the kids. So important. :)
At about 11 everyone went to The Boneyard which was right down the street from BW3's and it was okay. It reminded me of so many of the clubs my friends and I frequented in our 20's. The music was cool though and the drinks were flowing so how can I really complain. It was interesting to see the game room on the floor below. Is this supposed to be a family place??
I stayed for a very short time at The Boneyard as I wanted to get home while my Hubby was still up and awake as he was due to be home from work by Midnight. He & I stayed up for awhile and hung out before we went to bed.
This morning/afternoon I am swamped. I have to get to the library, grocery store, nail salon and I need to straighten this house. What a mess.
I can't believe tomorrow is back to work already. This weekend is just flying by.
