peanut brittle
went to the dr again today. well, 2 different ones actually. the first was for my back cause i hurt it lifting something at work the other day. the dr. said it was my s-i joint? he said it would probably continue to hurt through at least a few more months of pregnancy since that part shifts anyway... but he was super nice and gave me some pamphlets and some super tylenol and the next 2 days off from work! woohoo! best of all - workers comp pays for it all! yay! oh yeah - and i can no longer lift more than 20 pounds, doctors orders.
next doctor - had another ultrasound. as the girl was apologizing to me and saying how bad she felt for making me get the icky ultrasound dildo done and how she didn't expect to see anything anyway since i am so early... she gasped. and a little black dot was on the screen.... my little peanut! forming in the right place and everything. i was super happy. 1. because i didn't have to worry about it forming in my tubes instead and 2. because i don't have to go back every few days now for more tests that we can not afford. she printed me a picture of it too :D then i talked to the dr about my insurance and the $500 we can't afford. they worked with me and came up with this great plan so we don't have to pay them until next year so it will go on my deductible then (cause it starts all over in jan and i would have to meet the $2500 all over again). i was ESTATIC! so nice of them... my mom also said that they would help us out some too. good news all around.
went back to work to tell them i wouldnt be there the next 2 days and to show them my peanut. everyone was so excited that they didn't even mind that i was going to be off. my boss is acting like a 2nd mom to me. she is really watching out for me and planning everything out so i can stay there and not be overworked and still be happy. soooo happy that i found this job...
jo's mom bought us hungry howie's pantangular pizza tonight. it was quite tasty and i gorged myself on it. probably not good since i have already gained 5 pounds. oh well... at least it was on good stuff :D
today has been so great, that i'm gonna go now just so nothing bad will happen to dampen it.
