I feel like I'm floating. Not like the apex of a roller coaster or driving your car over a particularly robust hill. No, more like my arms and legs cannot catch purchase on the asphalt. I can feel my body sinking into my bed, leaving permanent indents for an archaeologist in the garbage fields, but the rest of me is leaving me behind and how can I go to class in the morning when I'm not all here?
I usually say my head is heavy with old rusted pipes and acid thoughts but I guess today it's filled with helium. Maybe it's an improvement, but you can't fall asleep when you're floating.
