Ah. Street-style harassment. I've heard a lot of the same kind of nonsense shouted from across the sidewalk, or out car windows.
The sad part is that the guys seem to think they're being complimentary in some way, when really, they're just being creepy.

I think so, too. Most of them didn't seem to have any idea they were being creepy, except maybe the "Where your man at?" guy. I was walking to my car when he zoomed around me in his car, stopped short in front of me to block me, and then asked me that. I told him "my man" was in the building I'd just left, and he sped off. That was freakin' creepy.

problem is, even if you tell them NOT to say those things, then they think you WANT them to say those things.....

It's like when I told my mum NOT to let them egg me at my birthday party - so she let them egg me.... It ruined the party... I actually didn't want her to do it!

Fight back, think of something to say to those things.... something that will freak em out ;)

Unfortunately there will always be some women who respond positively to such things, thus perpetuating the stereotype that all women like it.

This. For every 99 women who are weirded out, 1 will say yes and most of the other 99 will find it too awkward/surprising to call the guy out on this too much in the first place anyway.

Hey even when they do- that old joke about the guy being completely upfront and vulgar and getting slapped all the time until he meets a girl who IS into that sort of thing does have SOME grain of truth to it.

Are there women who like sagging pants? 'Cause that's gone on way too long, too. XD

Poor Kim! I work in a public library, and possibly the worst I've ever had was "You look like you should present TV... you should be a TV presenter. *pause* You should be in a blue movie." Said totally straight, no joking.
