I swear on my Minty with the red heart on the wrong hoof, this actually happened Monday. I went into a dollar store to look for note cards for my husband's geology homework. There was an older man missing his front teeth having a heated conversation with a young woman in highly questionable clothing and body glitter, and as I got closer, I realized they were discussing how to format citations in Microsoft Word.
Now, I've always believed in the adage that we shouldn't judge books by their covers. Sometimes, though, it does help to have real life reminders.
