Title: Manipulating Leeteuk
Pairings: Kangin/Leeteuk
Rating: G
Length: 2041 words
Summary: Leeteuk can't sleep, Kangin comes to his rescue. Inspired by this picture. Written for solitaryanguish, I forgot your KiHae on the side until I was already done, so I might try to stick that in to something else later on.

Everyone had bad nights from time to time, and unfortunately for Leeteuk, tonight was one of those nights for him. They’d had interviews and photo shoots all day long, and due to some technically glitches he’d spent an extra hour in the studio for his radio broadcast. Being the leader, he’d had to sit through it all with his dimpled smile plastered on his face, but his behind had gone numb over an hour ago and his back was aching so badly from sitting that he wanted to scream in pain. He’d tried twisting and wriggling about in his chair, even stretching, but it didn’t work.

He’d been so thankful to be able to go back to the dorm once it was over. He was stiff and sore and tired, and when he changed into his pajamas and slid into his bed it felt as though he were sliding onto a cloud… but that only lasted for ten minutes before his back started to ache again. He turned onto his side then and from there onto his stomach. When that didn’t work he turned onto his other side, but that only served to tangle him up in his blanket AND make his back ache more. The more he thought about it the more frustrated he got, and that made it all the more difficult to fall asleep. He only had five hours until he had to be up again, and at the rate he was going he doubted he’d be getting any sleep at all.

He was a bit thankful; however, he had the room to himself. He’d found his roommate sound asleep on the sofa with the TV on when he came in. Being the good umma he was, he’d spread a blanket over him so he didn’t get chilled, and turned the TV’s volume down to a whisper. At least now that he was alone he could toss and turn and throw his little temper tantrum from not being able to sleep, rather than feel as though he had to lay still for fear of waking the other up. Leeteuk was a selfless leader, after all, and didn’t want anyone else to lose sleep because of him.

He was just turning onto his back for the twelfth time when the door to his room opened up a bit, enough dim light flooding into the room for Leeteuk to be able to make out the concerned look on Kangin’s face.

“Hey… you alright?”

Leeteuk arched a brow, tucking his arm behind his head as he looked to Kangin.

“What makes you think I’m not alright?”

“Because your mattress squeaks every time you move, and my bed is right on the other side of the wall. I’ve been listening to your bed squeak for the past forty-five minutes.”

Leeteuk couldn’t help but to feel slightly depressed at that. If it were Heechul with the squeaky bed, no one would’ve dared to disturb him and risk interrupting whatever he had going on with whoever was sharing his bed and making the mattress squeak. Yet Leeteuk had a life so boring that upon hearing his mattress squeak, Kangin had been concerned that there was something wrong. Leeteuk sighed though, shifting slightly in the bed when his current position became uncomfortable.

“My back hurts and I can’t sleep. I’ll be alright though, go on back to bed.”

Kangin rolled his eyes and stepped on into the room; closing the door behind them, bathing them both in darkness, save for the bit of moonlight filtering in between the blinds on the window.

“And do what, lay there and listen to your mattress squeak for another forty-five minutes?”

Leeteuk felt the bed dip as Kangin climbed in, and scooted over to make room for the man without much thought.

“Turn over.”

“What? Why?” Leeteuk’s brows furrowed in confusion, even though he knew Kangin wouldn’t be able to see the expression. Kangin wasn’t one to take no for an answer though, and was already tugging on Leeteuk’s shoulders.

“Turn over so I can rub your back, come on.”

Leeteuk frowned but did as he was asked, rolling onto his stomach and grunting softly when Kangin took a seat on his behind. He had reason enough to be wary, Kangin wasn’t always such a gentle guy. He was half tempted to tell him he changed his mind, and that he’d go get a massage from Sungmin instead, but he knew well enough to know that telling Kangin that would only make the man more insistent on giving the massage himself.

“You don’t have to do this you know, I’ll be alright.”

“Yes I do. If I don’t, you’ll keep me up all night. I’m going it for my own benefit, really.” He could hear the other chuckle behind him though, he knew he was teasing, but that didn’t stop Leeteuk from rolling his eyes. Kangin leaned forward a bit to take hold of Leeteuk’s shoulders, and Leeteuk did his best to force himself to relax. He knew Kangin always had good intentions, even if the results never worked out as he planned, and Leeteuk was thankful that someone was at least willing to make an effort to help. He stiffened back up though when he felt Kangin begin to pull back on his shoulders, rather than rub them.

“Kangin! What are you doing?! My spine isn’t supposed to bed that way! Kangin!” Leeteuk tried to flail, but with Kangin sitting on him and gripping his shoulders so tightly there was little he could do. Kangin continued pulling slowly, lifting Leeteuk’s shoulders all the way off of the bed, pulling farther still. It was reaching the point when Leeteuk thought his back would surely break, or that he would pull a muscle at least, when his back popped quite loudly. There was an initial jolt of a bit of pain that caused Leeteuk to grunt, but it was gone as quickly as it appeared, and Kangin slowly lowered Leeteuk back down onto the bed.

“You’re too tense, that shouldn’t have been so hard to do.”

“That was hard to do because it’s not natural for a person’s body to bend like that, Kangin.” As much as Leeteuk hated to admit it though, the spot in his back that had popped didn’t feel quite so tense anymore. He didn’t dare tell Kangin though, lest Kangin get to thinking he really was good at this sort of thing, then he’d feel the need to run around and pop everyone’s backs.

Kangin let go of one shoulder, pulling the other towards him, causing Leeteuk’s body to begin to twist around. Leeteuk hissed in a bit of pain, and just like before when he thought he was reaching the breaking point his back would pop, and then Kangin would lower him back down. He’d quit protesting so much until he wound up with one arm crossed behind his back, the other being twisted up so far he could feel his fingertips beginning to go numb.

“Kangin! What are you trying to do, tie me into a pretzel?”

Kangin laughed softly, grinning a bit in the darkness. “That would keep you from wiggling around and making your bed squeak, wouldn’t it?”

“That’s not funny…”

“Yes it is.” He lowered Leeteuk’s arm back down to the bed then, strong hands beginning to knead the muscles on the back of his arm before his hands worked all the way down to his fingertips. Though it’d hurt his arm a bit to have it twisted up like that, the rush of blood back into his arm when it was lowered down combined with having Kangin’s fingers kneading deep into the flesh made his arm feel warm and limp and not stiff at all. Kangin gave his other arm the same treatment as well, though this time Leeteuk didn’t fuss as much.

Once Leeteuk’s arms felt like nothing more than wet noodles Kangin moved to Leeteuk’s back once more. Leeteuk worried for a moment that he was going to try cracking his bones again, and feared that he didn’t have many more bones left to crack that Kangin hadn’t twisted about before. Instead Kangin’s hand’s smoothed over Leeteuk’s shoulders and onto the back of his neck, rubbing and massaging there. It caused Leeteuk’s eyes to roll back into his head, a soft shiver heading right down his spine. He had sense enough to bite down on his lower lip before he let out a groan though, knowing Kangin, he’d get the wrong idea. He couldn’t ignore the fact that Kangin’s thumbs felt rather nice, the way they rubbed in slow circles over the back of his neck, trailing slowly down over his spine.

His hands moved back to Leeteuk’s shoulders then, pressing hard enough to make Leeteuk’s body rock slightly with each kneading motion of his hands. It hurt a bit, but it felt so delightfully good at the same time, so good Leeteuk didn’t even notice he’d let a few moans escape his lips until he felt Kangin’s body shake slightly atop his as he chuckled. Leeteuk felt his cheeks flush then, thankful Kangin wouldn’t be able to see it in the darkness.

“Sorry…”

“It’s alright. At least I know I’m doing a good job.”

“A very good job…” The words slipped out before Leeteuk even had the chance to stop them. Apparently when Kangin had massaged Leeteuk’s neck, he’d shut off the part of Leeteuk’s brain that allowed him to think before he spoke. Kangin chuckled once more but said nothing else, letting his hands work on down along Leeteuk’s spine. His hands had gotten warm from the friction of rubbing his back, and Leeteuk could feel the warmth seeping into his skin, even through the material of his sleep shirt. He let his eyes fall shut, chest rising and falling with slow, steady breaths.

Sungmin’s massages had always felt good, there was no denying that, but they’d never left him feeling as though he could melt right into the mattress. Kangin was turning Leeteuk into a pile of goo though, and Leeteuk didn’t mind one bit. Kangin’s hands worked all the way down to the small of Leeteuk’s back, and he grunted a bit when Kangin hit some of the more tender knots in his muscles. He’d spend extra time rubbing there, working at the muscles until he felt every ounce of tension melt away.

Just to make sure he’d gotten all the kinks smoothed out, Kangin worked his hands all the way back up Leeteuk’s back, kneading here and there, wherever he felt a bit of tension remaining. His hands finally slid away though, pressing to the mattress on either side of Leeteuk’s chest as he leaned over him.

“Feel better?” He frowned though when he got no response, leaning in a bit closer. “Teukie?”

He shifted a bit to lean to the side and glance at Leeteuk’s face, bathed in just enough moonlight to allow Kangin to see that his eyes were shut. He’d finally fallen asleep, face half smooshed into the pillow beneath him. Kangin laughed softly, bringing a hand up to let fingertips gently brush a bit of the hair away from Leeteuk’s face, leaning in to press a tender kiss to his forehead.

“Goodnight, Teukie.” He carefully slid off of him and out of the bed then, pulling Leeteuk’s white comforter up and over him, tucking it in around the edges slightly. He slipped out of the room then and closed the door as quietly as he could behind him before going back into his own room, slipping back into his bed and getting comfy.

All was quiet in the dorm, Leeteuk’s bed was no longer squeaking on the other side of the wall. Kangin laid there for a short while, enjoying the silence before his eyes popped open once again, staring up at the pattern the moonlight was casting on the ceiling. Now he was wide awake, and it wasn’t as though he could give himself a back massage. He grumbled, his own bed squeaking as he turned onto his side and curled up, making a mental note to get Leeteuk back for keeping him up in the morning.

A/N: So if I remember right, Sungmin spoke about taking some course called "Manipulating the Body", so that's where I got the title. solitaryanguish asked for KangTeuk fluff, and this was what I came up with, I hope you like it. And it seems like it's becoming normal for me to have a bit of a comical ending even though I was trying to be all serious. Sorry!
