I'm glad you like it, and I'm glad you like Yesung! I was worried at first when I decided to make him autistic... I was worried a lot of people wouldn't like it because of that.
My friend's name was Donald. He was always so terribly, terribly shy, but the sweetest boy once you got to know him. In third grade he finally started talking to me, though as I said he would never actually look at you or face you when he'd talk. He'd just look down and mumble. He was so amazingly intelligent though. It was also that year that his parents decided to send him off to a 'special school', though that was long before much research had been done for autism. He came back a year or so later, and my opinion was much worse. After that he wouldn't speak to anyone, and whereas you could sit with him or touch him or hug him or whatever, he wouldn't let anyone get near after that. I know his parents were only trying to do what was best, but I think jerking him out of an environment where he was finally becoming comfortable did more damage than good.
Anyways, I'm glad you like it! I promise there will be more of each of the boys later.
seems like your friend had low level of autism when studying with you, but got worse when their parents moved him (autistic people feel very hard any changes in their rotines, its very hard to them to understand).
they dont like to make eye contat or people to touch them. my professor told me once: an autistic child will see you as a tool, because you are not a person to him. This child will just take your arm to imply he wants something...
your yesung, looks like, had a low autism when he was 2 years old, but got very worse when only siwon was there for him and all the times they moved or had crazy scheadules...
i think you got a great story line with siwon having to take care of twins who are always fighting, Donghae as a teen and Yesung as a special child. so many things can come to life like yesung obsessing over turtles and only turtles.
wow, long comment. autism is one the things i love to read about...
