Crazy on You

We live in a noisy neighborhood. The Cromwell was fairly quiet; the only real noise was during the day when the Asian family next door would yell at each other. Here people yell when they could easily talk in a normal tone and walk down the middle of the streets and honk their horns a lot. It's weird how moving five or six blocks can change your surroundings so much. Nik fell asleep watching Simpsons, the monkey butler episode, one of my favorites. It is always a little disconcerting when he goes to bed before I do. Not sure why. I developed some new addictions, namely ebay and the office. Ebay mainly for vintage jewelry and sewing notions. The office because it is so hilarious. I watch the show (both British andAmerican versions) wishing I could work at a place where I goofed around all the time, but at the same time the things the people do and say are so representative of the types of people you run into in an office setting no matter where you work. I love it. The British version involves a great deal more alcohol and sex toys, which is great. My Time magazine is all about the Pope this week. No surprise there. But unlike other recent news events I don't mind all the pope talk. It's nice to know his suffering is finally over and he can go on to whatever awesome adventures await us after death. On that note, I should probably go to bed. I hate feeling like the walking dead in the morning, but I also hate going to bed before 1am.
