Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing UV Milk SPF 50 PA+++

I received the Hada Labo SHA Moisturizing UV Milk last week which I have been using it as my daily sunblock for the past couple of days and will continue to do so...

This multipurpose UV Milk apparently has 3-in-1 benefits - UV Protection, Hydration and Make-Up Base.

If you have stuck around long enough reading this journal, you would have read about my review of the Hada Labo SHA skincare that I was sponsored quite some time ago and I am a fan of the SHA Lotion.

Just like the other products in the brand, the Hada Labo SHA Moisturizing UV Milk  SPF 50 PA+++ reaches deep into the skin to moisturize the skin with three types of Hyaluronic Acid. It locks in moisture for a soft, supple and radiant skin all day.

With an SPF of 50 PA+++, users can be assured of a high, broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays.

Did I mention that 1 of its benefits of this UV Milk is a Makeup Base? How does it work as a makeup base? Well, upon application of the UV Milk, your base makeup can easily glide on your smooth complexion without leaving streaks.

And, as this UV Milk is a light weight milky liquid that applies clear, it gets absorbed by your skin pretty quickly without the typical sunscreen stickiness and whitish residue.

The UV Milk is gentle on the skin as it is free of artificial ingredients like fragrances, mineral oil, alcohol and colorant that may burden the skin. This UV Milk also helps keep the skin's PH balance and is rigorously tested for low skin irritant.

Not only is this UV Milk suitable for the face but also your neck and body too!

Truth be told, when I first received the product, I did cringe a little when I read the word 'Moisturizing'. Most of you would have known that I have oily skin and anything that contains the word moisturizing, I tend to stay away, not unless I am very stressed at work which causes my skin to be dry and flaky, only then I'll source for something a little more moisturizing than usual to treat my skin.

On the first day that I tried the product, I made sure that I wasn't heading out after work so that even if I look like an oil slick, I can still head home and remove my makeup immediately. BUT surprizingly, I did not look anything like an oil slick! Infact, my face was pretty oil free the entire day! I was pretty sure that I did not use that many oil controlling products and decided to change up the product combination the very next day. And once again, I was proven right. This UV Milk did help in controlling the oil. I am not sure why though. All I knew it that my skin kinda like this UV milk as a base product beneath my makeup!

I tried various combination the next couple of days and was really really impressed with the product which I think might have just become my HG sunscreen! I really like how fluid it is which does not feel a wee bit sticky nor leaves a whitish residue upon application.

Well, `nuff bout how much I love the product because there is something I really do not like about it...

Just like other high SPF base products / sunscreens, it casts a white overcast under flash photography! In natural lighting, I definitely do not look like I have a mismatched foundation. So, if you are going to be under flash photography, please stay away from this product or any product with a high SPF.

Other than that, I really really love this sunscreen! For S$19.90 a bottle that contains 38ml of product which is available exclusively at Watsons islandwide, this has definitely top my charts and will be my HG sunscreen for now.

I am now tempted to try the BB Cream under the same range of products! Have you tried this UV Milk or the BB Cream? Share your views with me!

Oh, if you are not a fan of Hada Labo's Facebook Page, you ought to right now! There's gonna be a free sampling campaign and giveaway coming up real soon!
