Kao Biore Marshmallow Whip Facial Wash
You probably have seen the trailer advertisement on free to air television here in Singapore approximately 2 weeks ago and finally the full ad through the media sometime last week. It is the all new Kao Biore Marshmallow Whip Facial Wash. I received this a couple of weeks ago but had to wait for the launch of the media ad before I can post my review up.
Truth be told, I first saw this product on the shelf of a supermarket that is pretty near my office during lunch one day and was pretty intrigued by it and told myself I will try it soon but before I knew it, my Wish-List was granted and I was sent the product!
This is one of the latest skin care product that has hit the shelves of major stores in Singapore that honestly has gained lotsa attention. It is unlike your typical facial wash though. It is a facial wash that when dispensed, becomes a fluffy whipped foam that looks like a marshmallow!
The ultra fine foam deep cleanses the face really well and the collagen content helps moisturize the face to prevent stripping off excess moisture unlike other deep cleansing facial cleanses.
The magic of the product is the pump!
From a really pleasant scent that reminds me of an extremely long discontinued shampoo brand, Timotei (Very old school huh!) liquid,
It dispenses into a foam looking like marshmallow! Actually, it reminds me more of a meringue! This amount is actually 2 pumps which is more than sufficient to cleanse your face. I actually only need one pump. It really unlike other self foaming cleansers that I have tried that dispenses light airy foam that gets deflated in a couple of seconds!
And what is unique about the marshmallow whip is that it is so fine but yet does not slide even when you tilt your palm upside down! So no worries about the ultra fine foam sliding off your face while you cleanse your face. If you have tried other self foaming cleansers, you definitely do not get such dense fine foam that does not slip nor 'deflates' in a couple of seconds!
What can I say.. I actually quite like this facial cleanser! It cleanses my face pretty thoroughly and still remains really soft after washing it off! I like it so much that when midnight_pluewas in Singapore 2 weeks ago, I introduced it to her when we were at Watsons and she bought it instantly to try it out in the evening and the very next day, she bought the refill pack (yes! this comes with a refill pack! Talk about saving the enviornment huh?) for a backup back to Malaysia!
Available at most Watsons island-wide, you won't miss the huge display shelf that is fully stocked with the retail bottle and refill pack. And you will be pleasantly surprized that each retail bottle can last you a 150 pumps and if you use one pump each time you cleanse your face for twice a day, it can last you approximately 2 and a half months!
I have also seen it at Sheng Siong Supermarket! The bottle retails at S$13.90 while the refill pack is S$10.90, saving you S$3 when you need to get a new bottle.
For S$13.90, it is definitely worth a try! A personal recommendation from me!
