Koji Dolly Wink Nail Collection

Remember my entry about the packages I received when I returned to Singapore from Ho Chi Minh City in January? One of which was from Mandom Singapore whom sent me a couple of stuff and among the goodies were these 4 Koji Dolly Wink Nail Colors!

Dolly Wink is really popular lately huh? With the launch of the glitter cream shadows and the eyeshadow quads, everyone seem to be talking about Dolly Wink! I am actually interested in the brown quad which is in the Anna-Sui inspired packaging. Should I get it? Should I Should I? It is so insanely pigmented!

Another item I was really interested in is the glitter cream eye shadow that everyone is going crazy over but when I was swatching it, I remembered I have something in my stash that is extremely similiar! The MakeMania Sparkle Glitter Eyeshadow that I bought them over a year ago! I took it out and started playing with them lately again. I love how creamy it is and turns to a powder finish upon application! I'll wear it on the middle of the lids to brighten up my eyes. I have not seen them in stores now but the Dolly Wink ones sure resembles the Make Mania ones but the former seems creamy and does not really dry to a powder finish unlike Make Mania.

Enough of digressing, back to the Dolly Wink Nail Colors! It comes with a Base Coat and Top Coat in the same size as the standard Dolly Wink Nail Colors. Something I probably will not get as it is really tiny and we all know, we use Base and Top Coat more often than the 12542323 polishes we have in our stash yes?

They do come in 10 creamy opaque colors!

And 4 Glitter ones. And they retail for S$12.90 each. It is a little pricey but Dolly Wink products are priced a little higher than the other Japanese cosmetics.

But you gotta love the packaging! I love the lace and bows! Kawaiiiiiiii neh?

For those who reads Japanese.

And you gotta love the bow at the top of the packaging!

The bow overlaps each other to secure the product in the plastic packaging! You really gotta love the Japanese for their packaging efforts!

They are really tiny! For S$12.90, some might say it is really not worth it but as gifts, I think they are extremely sweet!

From left: 01 Red, 03 Salmon Pink, 14 Pink Glitter and 08 Turquoise.

The size of the brush is not compromised with the small tiny bottle. It fits my pinky with just one swipe!

And look at how it is when it is applied with only one coat! Yes, this is only one coat! Talk about quality huh?
*excuse the ungroomed cuticles and messy application.

I wore these for a couple of days and with just one coat, without a base or a top coat, it lasted me a good 4 days before I noticed a little chipping at the tip.

For S$12.90, do you still think it is pricey? Okie, maybe just a little but have you ever completed a full size nail polish before it turns nasty in the bottle and you have to end up tossing it out? These are a pretty good size for those who likes collecting cutesy products and for those who do not wear nail colors often. It makes a really cute pressie too!

Oh, these are not available at all Watsons, well, not now at least but I heard they are available at the Ngee Ann City outlet so if you are in the vinicity, do check these out!
