These few days of ROP has been much better, probably because we were allowed to cook more and Ms. Cruz wasn't here today. Yesterday, we were preparing potato salad, but we didn't get to eat it until today. The teacher had to go to Super A to get a few items so we could finish preparing the salad, so we had break at about the same time as the summer school kids. Ms. Cruz said it was her birthday yesterday and she was having a big party with 160 something guests. So that's probably why we had Ms. White as our sub today. We got a 10 min. break and then a 30 min. break later at the same time as the summer school kids get break since we were done with everything Ms. Cruz had on the lesson plan. We are usually allowed to get lunch from the cafeteria five minutes before the summer school kids and eat in the Moor cafe, which takes about 30 min. =) I got too full from the pasta, potato salad and tuna sandwich we had during class, so I skipped the icky cafeteria snack. I got to see Julie and Angel K during break. =) I wish we were allowed to have the same break as they do.
