Little P
Well, she has certainly adjusted to being here in a busy house. She was out of her cage for most of the day yesterday. To keep her from getting bored, I would switch back and forth between having her on the play top on her cage to being on the play perch. She ate some fresh fruit and vegetables yesterday and enjoyed a piece of chicken last night at dinner. I did introduce her to egg but she didn't seem to like it very much.
She did, however, enjoy the pumpkin and carrot bread that I made for her yesterday. When it was bedtime last night, she nestled into my hair and went to sleep. I put her back in her cage and she went onto her favorite perch and settled in for the night.
She hasn't screeched all that much so I am guessing she is a happy content bird. She is still unsure of Jacob but I'm sure she will warm up to him in time. She finally went to James yesterday afternoon. He was very happy about that.
I weighed her yesterday. She is 71/2 ounces. She was 61/2 ounces the last time Jenn weighed her last Wednesday.
