I have been neglecting my lj. Been busy studying for my cert exam that I'm taking in a couple weeks and running all over the place for work. It doesn't take too much time in my day but it's how things are scheduled that make it difficult. I will have to be at one place say at 830. Then I won't have another place to be at until 1 or so. Then not another appointment until 3 or 4. Some days are better than others when I have 8 or 9 places to go throughout the day. I just wish that things weren't so spread out time wise.
Tomrrow night we are going to Karl and Vic's to get one of the captains beds. I know Sarah will be excited that her captains bed is gone from her room at Karls. I can just imagine the joy (yeah right) when she sees it set up in her room here. I'm sure she is going to be so thrilled about it.
This afternoon is going to be crazy. I have to meet my mother in law at 230 or so. She is babysitting Jacob while I am at my appointment with Jessica. Then I have a ton of stuff to do here for the inspection on Saturday for our the new owners.
The quiet in our neighborhood this week is almost enough to make me want to scream. I got so use to having a ton of kids in our backyard playing. I am still amazed that with up to 10 kids here at a time, no one gets into arguments. Oh sure, they get into little minor disagreements but they work out the little problems by themselves and continue on to conquer some of their make believe worlds. Or bake bread in the playscape 'kitchen. If Tonya and Rici are up here there are more problems because Tonya loves to run the show. She bosses everyone around and if the other kids don't do everything to her liking, she throws a huge hissy fit. She is 10 but acts like she's a two year old when things don't suit her fancy. I did 'ground' her last week for 3 days. She wasn't allowed to come up here and play. Boy, she really didn't like that. I don't know if she did it on her own or if her aunt made her do it but, I got a letter apologizing to me for her behavior and she would try to behave better from now on. She was up here yesterday playing with the triple J's and her behavior was much improved. The two boys from next door won't be home until next week. I really miss them; especially Derek. That little boy won me over from day 1. James and Jared are gone all day in their respective summer programs. Jared did not want to go and fought with me about it for a few days. His first day, he went but made sure I knew he was not happy about it. When I went to pick him up, he didn't want to leave. That's the way it was yesterday too. I knew he would love it once he got there and I was right.
Well I suppose I should take advantage of Jacob napping and get a few things done around here.....
