Still Tired
Well, what can I say besides I am exhausted. I didn't sleep well at all Friday night. I don't know why I couldn't sleep but oh well. I made Chris a gorgeous cake in the middle of the night. I figured that if I couldn't sleep I might as well get up and do something productive. I really didn't feel like unpacking anything more so off to bake-land. The cake came out really nice but it could have been nicer. Him and the boys loved it so that's all that matters.
We went to Dinosaur State Park in Rocky Hill. The place is awesome. I will be posting pictures in my picture blog a little later. We walked all the trails outside. Unfortunately, the casting area was closed. It opens today (figures) so on our next trip (and there will be more trips there, trust me) we will hit that too. Chris' mom got us this Charter Oak pass Plus. It gets us into all the state parks in CT for free. She works for the state so it cost her like 5 bucks or something insane like that.
She called last night. Whitney took 1st place in several different categories at the horse show. She was schooling all day yesterday but shows today. She is showing Silver Thistle and Whitney is showing John today. He showed Winston and Harley yesterday. We are going to the next horseshow in Springfield (I believe) in a couple weeks.
I have a date today. With a couple gallons of paint and a couple quarts of coffee. I'll post when I post the pictures on the photo blog.
