Go Figure....
Wouldn't you know it? I was sitting here at my desk going over my "To Do" list and I looked down. Next to the tower, guess what was laying there? Yeah, my keys. Chris and I looked on my desk probably a couple hundred times....each. We moved things. We looked all over the desk. The keys weren't under anything. They were laying on top of a red plastic bag. In full view. Not obscured by anything. So at least that worry is gone.
I still need to find a place for my pets for like 2 weeks, at most. Staying at a hotel is going to be way expensive. We need to weigh the expenses of that versus the expenses of staying down at the farm and travelling up here every couple days.
We are almost down to the absolute bare essentials here. It's been nice not to have to deal with the drunken creature next door. Chris tried to play peace keeper the other night. It didn't work. She was way too drunk to deal with. She slurred so much when she tried to talk, I have absolutely no clue as to what she tried to say to me. Between not having a tooth in her head and slurring, it's a whole different language. And it was raining a little yesterday so she was all holed up in her dungeon. We all know that certain things can't be exposed to water...and she's one of them.
