the big news!
okay i guess i am able to let the cat out of the bag. i have been hesitant to say anything because i felt as though i would jinx it if i did. it appears that all is in order now so i am able to fill ya'll in!
kevin and i have been house hunting since we got married. welp, we found one and we are moving in over the weekend! =) =) =) YAY! the new carpet was installed tonight. very beautiful. the house needs some work. (a few screens, one small florida room window and a good deep cleaning.) other than that, i LOVE it. i fell in love with it from day one and knew that we HAD to get it. it's huge. lots of space. it's 2BR/2BATH. the master BR has a shower and a jacuzzi style tub. a walk in closet (MINE!) and a regular closet (kevin's). the baby's room has it's own bathroom. what i love about the baby's room is that it has 2 entrance ways. good for a crying infant (agree lil momma?). huge living room! it's all wood panel which i love bc it reminds me of up north. the kitchen has an island in it similar to something that kevin wants to build in the future. so YAYYYYYYY!!!!! i am soooo excited i could scream. (ok, for those of you that know me, i screamed!)
more good news. i told my boss about the house and how we are going to move in and clean and all. she gave me the weekend off. how sweet is that? she said that you only get your first home once and that all of my "superior work" (yep, that is what she called it, YAY!) hasn't gone unnoticed. woo-hoo!
even though i cannot really "move" anything or clean with heavy duty cleaners, i will be there and it means the world to me. YAY! i am elated!!!
sorry guys. i don't mean to be annoying or over the top. i am just wicked happy.
also...we got our car on the road today. very nice! we had received it as a wedding present. nothing fancy schmancy, but it's ours. it's a 1990 Buick Park Avenue. love it. kevin and i nicknamed her "Rosa Parks". 2 reasons: 1. it's a "Park" Avenue. 2. noone is gonna tell that car to move to the back bc it is ours!!! hehe. loving rosa!
so life is real good right now. it's kinda scary. i am so afraid something is going to happen to rain on our parade. i mean it feels as though it's toooooo goood to be true. know what i mean?
