(no subject)
day one of my days off from work went really well! i was able to sleep in. YAY! lovvvvve when that happens. got to see my husband on his lunch break. that was wonderful. got caught up on my soaps that i haven't seen in ages. YAY!!! then took a WONDERFUL bubble bath. gosh i love those! then i picked kevin up from work. then Mom-mom came to pick me up to go to the mall.
we went to jc penney's first to get me some bras. i was in desperate need of new ones. we went there for 2 reasons. i still had money on my gift card and also because they were having an amazing sale. gotta love that!
then we headed over to the children's place. Mom-mom went stir crazy in this place. all $80.00 worth of stir crazy. the baby got a whole bunch of cute little outfits. mostly a beige color bc we are not going to find out what we are having until the baby arrives! cutttte stuff. love them!
then Mom-mom treated me to a marilyn monroe purse. do i even need to say how much i lovvvve this purse? wicked cute and she looks so radiant on the cover of the bag. YAY!
then we went to dinner. we had NO idea where to go. then i suggested Barnhills which is a buffet restaurant. anyone ever hear of it? yummy food. plus with the way i can put food away nowadays it was the best place to eat for the money spent. i made 3 trips to the food section and 2 to the dessert. Mom-mom (who eats less than a bird!!!) made one trip to food and one to dessert. we had a blast. i swear my Mom-mom is wonderful company and i idolize her!
then i came home. kevin was already asleep (what a stinker!). so i organized my new purse. looked at the baby clothes for what felt like hours (ya'll i cannot stress how CUTE they are). then i watched sex and the city. lovvvvve that show. good episodes tonight. all about breakers and sluts! YAY!
shanda, i thought of you while i was shopping. i am sure you must have enjoyed shopping for MH's first baby clothes. too cute!
oh yeah! i almost forgot...CONGRATULATIONS to britney spears. she had her baby boy today. i am so thrilled for her. wow, c-section. i still love her to pieces and soo excited that she is a mommy. YAY!
