....so it's been a while!
WOW! I didn't know LJ still existed...i guess with facebook and myspace I completely forgot about it. So much has happened in the last year...
Right now I'm sitting in my room in Rolling Hills Estates, CA AKA Palos Verdes AKA Los Angeles. My room is an old dining room that has been transformed into a bedroom just for me!!! I'm living with my Aunt (my mom's sister), my Uncle, and their 2 kids. It's so much fun to be the oldest for the first time in my life. I mean it has it's ups and downs...but mostly everything is ups. I love living with this family. I accidentally called Michael (11) my brother the other day. OOPS!
I have my last semester at El Camino Community College starting February 12th----right when I get back from my Hawaii/Probowl trip!!!---and then I'll be transferring to UCLA, UCSB, or SDSU. How exciting!!! (You knomw what else is exciting??? That 4.0 i got last semester...JC here isnt like JC in the South. It's actually hard. It was way harder than USA.) I just needed a little change..or maybe a lot of change. Until a week ago today I really had no idea why I chose to come here besides the fact that I had a free place to stay and a huge networking opportunity for my career...but last Monday, after I almost died, I realized I was here for a reason. I trecked across this country with Ryan Seanor in my 1997 Maxima and had an absolute blast just to come to JC out here and live with a family (not the ultimate college experience) all because....drum roll.......
I was doomed to have 3 seizures last Monday so i could get referred to this amazing neurologist who is going to save my life...oh wait my aunt already did that. thats the short version. no driving. Boo. oh well at least I'm alive...now I'm just working and living life having a blast! Mom is coming in town tomorrow to be with me and I'm REALLY excited! My twins are great, no men in my life (except the stalkers), and I have the best friends ever....until next time (could be 2008)....
