am i too lost?

all i want is to be loved, and apparently its not happening.
all i want is to be pretty, and thats not happening anytime soon either.
i just need to get out of here, out of my own mind,
i cant be everything to everyone, even tho i try.
this i know.
maybe all these tears will someday find a purpose
maybe, one day, ill really truly be loved by someone
not as a friend
but
as something more
there was someone who really loved me, but i screwed up
as always
and now i cant go back
