So, homecoming was on Saturday. SO much fun. I went with Vanessa, Max, Eugene, Mary, and Tracie. I guess you could kind of call it the "new group" even though that sounds iffy. I just have so much more fun with them than anyone else before.

First we went out to Vanessa's family's restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, of course. That in itself was so much fun just because of what we talked about. It's like.. before I always felt like I had to restrict myself since what I wanted to talk about my friends didn't want to hear about. But with these friends, its so different. None of us can get enough about what we talk about. We have the same interests. It's so much fun.

So apparently we're starting an Asian Culture Club at school and I have Asian radar. And I'm going to be president of the Asian Club? Does that sound off to anyone else? Of the people I'm starting it with there are two Asians. Yet even they think I'm the best one to be president? Oh ok, sure. I think I'm going to be co-president with Tracie though.

Well, after dinner we were going to be late to the dance so Tracie, Max, Mary, and Eugene left in one car quickly. Vanessa and I were going in my car. Only it wouldn't start. Stupid me forgot to turn the lights out and the battery was dead! Long story short, we spent 45 minutes in the parking lot with a Chinese waiter and a family of Alter alumni trying to jump my car until my parents showed up. We eventually got to the dance with only 1 1/2 hours left.

The dance itself was also fun, but it was probably not as fun as the dinner or ice cream afterwards.

Like I said, afterwards we went out for ice cream. We had a gay guy named Jay wait on us. He was amazing. I love him so much! He was hilarious. We took pictures with him, and for the picture Vanessa yelled "Get on your knees boys!" (so we'd all fit) and Jay automatically said "Oh, I've said that a few times before" in his gay lisp. It was the funniest freakin' thing I've ever heard!

So, we all left him huge tips and he told us to drop off a copy of the picture for him.

After that Vanessa spent the night. We watched a mix of anime, Asian dramas, and American movies and talked which was also lots of fun.

Gr! We all were going to go see a movie on Friday and go to the Renassiance Festival on Saturday but my dad set me up for a college tour so I can't. I really want to hang out with them though. I have less than a year left in high school and I feel like I only just now found amazing friends that not only have common interests, but they like doing the same things and actually have some time to do them and I can be myself around them.

It's like.. I want this time with them you know? I've seen so many colleges I think I could pick one, but I might not be able to go to the renassiance festival with them again. I really want to hang out with them while I can and as much as I can.
