(no subject)
Well, I was in good spirits today because of a dream about Alex (wtf? How random is that? I haven't thought about him all summer and actually thought I might not like him much anymore)
Then I got my AP scores back. In AP European History I got a 1. Out of 5, I got a 1. I really thought I didn't do that bad. I thought I probably got a 3, and at least a 2. But a 1? That's the lowest! I mean, I studied. I knew a lot of answers for sure. So how'd I get a 1? Oh well. I'm kind of over it by now thanks to talking to Veronica, but still. I want to know if I should cancel the score. Will colleges see that I couldn't master the material of the thousands of years of history of a continent I've never been to and think "Oh, this girl obviously didn't take it seriously even though she's always gotten good grades. A 1? That's worse than horrid! That's the lowest! NO! This girl will definitely not get into the college of her dreams!"
I mean.. it cost $80 to take the stupid exam! Do they think I'd really throw $80 around just to get a score that turns colleges off?
I kind of want to cancel the scores but that probably costs money. But.. if it really would make a difference in getting into the college I want I would spend that money. The question is, what would colleges hate more? A 1 or receiving no score? If they get no score they'd assume I didn't take the exam, which I know colleges hate. So.. which is the greater evil?
I think I'm not going to take AP Government anymore. I'm not one to give up anymore, but when my family's money gets involved I'm not going to get headstrong. Last time that AP exam made me stress out beyond anything else and waste over $80. It caused way more trouble than it helped. So.. I'm going to think this over. And maybe drop out of AP Government.
In computer news, I'm cleaning my harddrive. I only have 13 gigs left on it so I have to get rid of stuff fast. Right now I'm going through all of Asian music/music videos/live performances/interviews/etc. That should clear something off since I have over 50 gigs filled just in that area of my computer. It'll take a while though. I'm only in my Arashi folder now and I've already been going through it for a few days on and off (its alphabetical order btw)
