Such tragedy at Virginia Tech. I cannot do more than the news wires to elaborate, but my heart goes out to those who suffered and the friends and families affected. All of you are in my prayers.

Gun control...not an issue I'm touching.

What really effected me was this away message I saw yesterday. Something to the tune of: "Oh my God! I would have lost SO many friends if that had happened at ! ::insert school name::I can't imagine..."

What bothered me much is that this person was SO selfish, that they, even in an away message regarding a tragedy, put themselves and their priorities above the world's. And twisted in such a way that they look good. How can they?

Anyway, this is to everyone taking advantage of the tragedy. To the shitheads calling in bomb threats today because they felt empowered by yesterday or whatever. To the nimrods making political cases out of yesterday, whichever side they're on. And to the bitches who twist anything traumatic into ways to make them look good. There is a special place in hell for you.

I don't like all the profile pictures of the black ribbon on Facebook either. But I have yet to put that discomfort into words.

It was kinda like when this person thought "Kimberly was in a car accident...I hope she dies so I can comfort ::name:: and he will date me now!" and then proceeded to ruin what little life I had left when I didn't.
