So for those that don't know, I lost someone very close to me over the weekend. It was my godmother's mother, so it was like kinda having three grandmothers in my lifetime. She was a great lady who lived a good life, but was old and suffering from cancer so I was glad to see her go and not suffer, even though she will be terribly missed!
Also, most of you don't know, but I used to live a very religious life. I went to Catholic school five days a week from kindergarten to 8th grade, went to church on a weekly basis, was a lector, a choir member, and even went to CCD. That all stopped when I was 15. Now, I never go to church.
Now, what you may know is that I LOVE to people watch. It's just one of the things that I do and it is so interesting to watch how people interact with one another. So, while in church for the funeral today, I was making general observations. Something shocked me though! Everyone got up to receive the eucharist and all of the old people made a mad dash to the front. It was like they needed to get this one thing before they died and it was like it was going to be happening soon too!
I gtg to work, i'll finish later
