Ashley stopped writing and looked at the paper and at the words she wrote:
Dear Ryo-chan,
My heart aches as I write this, but I felt that this was the best way. Ryo-chan, we've been together for the longest time and I loved every minute of it. But, something-- I don't know what, but something just disappeared. My 'I love you's' sound empty and it hurts me because I'd do anything to make them mean something again.
Please don't hate me for this, but I think you already know. You know how I get, I just can't put my thoughts into words. But you get me, and that's something I'll always remember. But now, I'm sorry. Gomen Ryo-chan but, it's over.
