My Guy Garvey metre is maxed out for this week.
Not only did Jonathan and I get to chat to him after the Southend gig last night for a while, and he brought out the setlist of the band's drink orders on it especially for us because he thought it'd make us laugh, but when I got home today I discovered that he also played my most recent Song For Guy on this week's Finest Hour which aired last night and read out the email I sent with it. I'd sent it in a couple of weeks ago, suggesting Diablo Rojo by Rodrigo y Gabriela. The only SFG of mine that he's played before was The Old Matchbook Trick by Lambchop, and he didn't read out the email for that.
