A landmark
Today is a landmark in the life of Kim. Today, I have finally decided NOT to spend £200 on a standing ticket to Muse at the RAH which may or may not even be real. This decision can be explained by the fact that I am currently (and have been for the past couple of months) entirely infatuated and enamoured with Elbow, leading me to admit that of course whilst I'm still silly-ly crazy about Muse and always will be, I can't actually call them my favourite band anymore because Elbow are *at least* on a par with them in my eyes. Also the idea that since Elbow have a much smaller stature than Muse, this means that they are much more accessible to me in terms of getting to meet them etc. A couple of months ago I probably would have risked that £200 for a Muse RAH ticket but having spent ~£150 altogether going to Birmingham last month for the SSK playback, I've come to realise that if I were to spend that kind of money now, I'd much rather it be on Elbow than on Muse!
