Well, Yesterday wasn't all I had hoped it would be. I had a good time and everything, but it wasn't fantastic. I'm gonna start with the bad and go backwards. Ok, we left halfway through Hot Hot Heat so that we would have time to get in to see the Killers. We left during one of my favorite songs but I thought it would be well worth it. When we got outside, we saw a line of about 4,000 people waiting to get into the Fox Theater. My heart sank. I knew that I wasn't going to be able to see the band that I came for. We got in the line anyway and time past until it was fifteen minutes into the Killers set and the line hadn't moved. They weren't letting anyone in. They weren't letting anyone in to the State either, so you were forced to watch Z-Trip. I was crushed and decided to leave. When we got home I had the worst headache and it added to the sadness. Luckily, I did have fun up until that point. Hot Hot Heat was awesome. They were so fun to watch. There were so many people in there that it was hard to move. I have been to many concerts there, but this was crazy. Before Hot Hot Heat was Motion City Soundtrack. This was the only band that Shorts wanted to see. They were really good too. They are so energetic. Jesse was just adorable, but I'm a sucker for piano/keyboard players. The first band we saw was Acceptance. They were amazing and my favorite band of the night. I knew that I was going to like them because I love their song Different, but I could have never anticipated how much I enjoyed them. This guys voice was beautiful. It was so soothing to listen to. He also had the most gorgeous cheekbones I have ever seen (I know I am weird). Acceptance had more boys with pretty hair in it than I have ever seen in my life. Too many cute boys :) , not to mention all of the hot guys in the audience. When they were done with their set, I went and bought their CD. So, the night wasn't a complete waste. I had a good time with a few minor disappointments (and a very big one), but overall I think it was pretty fun.
Today, is my first day of not having to go to high school. It is boring, lonely, and kinda sad. I didnt even really sleep in. I woke up at 9:30. Then the president made a speech and when you dont have cable, that is not a good thing. With nothing else to do I ended up watching the WB. They show the stupid shows during the day like Blind Date and Elimidate. Not something that I am very interested in. Where do they even find these people? Maybe tomorrow will be better.
