Alright, I just got back from my second night of frosh, which involved a pub crawl all around Montreal...So many things happened. I got proposed, I was married, I got divorced (apparently twice) and I established with Alan that he'll be my alcoholic british lover. We were debating between the term 'lover' and 'friends with benefits' but he insisted that lover had more classic ring to it. He also said that the word 'alcoholic' must stay because he simply loves drinking. And of course, this all happened while I was completely trashed, which I still am right now.
So...I don't think I've told you about Alan yet. No, he is not my gay best friend Alan, he is this british bloke whom I met yesterday during the arts frosh. He is 20, he'll only be here for 4 months (exchange student), 6 feet tall, the softest brown hair that I've ever felt on a guy and blue eyes (therefore all of you must be jealous). Well he isn't too attractive (not drop dead gorgeous but not bad) and a bit arrogant, but he is funny as hell (he sings Elvis and recites monty python perfectly!) and he has a perfect british accent from Manchester. No he isn't my boyfriend, I just somehow ended up making out with him after introducing myself (I blame it on the beer) but everyone in arts frosh just assumes that we're an official couple. I don't think I really want him for a serious relationship, but it's nice to have a guy to walk with holding your hand when you're wandering downtown Montreal after midnight. He also paid for my cab and my drinks, and he walks me all the way up the hill to get to McConnell when he lives in opposite direction. We didn't really talk about how this is going to end up, and for now I don't feel the need to know. But tonight I did turn him away with a simple kiss on the hand telling him to 'behave like a gentleman'. He isn't a total sweetheart, sometimes he even seems to be a bit asshole-ish but he isn't the jealous type whom I hate and he does respect me in many aspects. We are not acknowledging each other as boy/girlfriend at all but he did try to arrange a date for wednesday and friday(my birthday), free from froshes and ppl spying on us. According to him, ppl must have at least three dates before becoming partners (You should give the girl at least three chances to tell you to 'sod off'-he said) so we'll see how this goes.
Moral of this story? British accent is extremely attractive.
P.S. this entry is dedicated to all of you who are worried that I might be gay or asexual.
