(no subject)
I am getting so nervous about leaving. Everythings going to be different from now on and that is (just a little) scary. I have two days left and so much is to be done. I have some stuff packed but I really need to go to Walmart sometime to get a bunch more stuff. Yesterday I did some shopping with my sister. She bought me a pair of pants and a sweater so that was nice of her. She's engaged but she doesnt have a ring now because when she was out at dinner the other night with her bf and some of their friends in Chapel Hill, she went to wash her hands and came back and saw that 1 of like 13 diamonds fell off her ring and so it has to be repaired. It sucks too because it wont be ready until after I leave so I will be like the last person to see it. Her fiancee has not had much luck lately. I feel kinda bad for him. He was planning on asking my sister to marry him on his birthday which was last Friday. However, Thursday afternoon he calls my sister and says "I've been in a wreck. Will you come pick me up?" So of course my sister is freaking out and worried and so she goes to the crash scene and finds Mike and it turns out that Mike ran into the back of a Ford Explorer which had a trailer hitch on it. He was only going about 10 mph but when he hit the Explorer, it damaged the front bumper, and the hood was all dented up and so what happened is somehow during the impact the radiator collided with the battery, knocking the battery cap off and battery acid leaked all over the engine and everything, so it turns out he totalled his car. So, Mike was planning on asking my sister to marry him in Chapel Hill where they first met, but due to the circumstances he went ahead and asked her that Thursday night in his apt in Columbia. Then Friday they went to Chapel Hill where Mike surprised my sister with dinner accompanied by all of their friends from college. So anyway, that was sweet. Well I do believe I am going to quit typing now and get something done. I finally got some clothes packed but definitely could use to do some laundry. :-( 2 days...
