Good Ol' Rainy Days
Today I woke up around 11:00. That's the latest I've woken up in a long time, but I guess since I didnt go to bed until a little after 2 AM then its okay. I am so glad that it is raining outside today. Yesterday I was out in the yard doing yardwork from the time I woke up, 10:30, to about 5:30 that afternoon. Friday night I went and played tennis with my dad. He brought our ball machine so I hit about 4 rounds with that plus I played some with just my dad. The first round I hit with on the ball machine was nearly killer. My dad turned it on oscillate and turned the speed up to almost the fastest it would go so I was running from one side of the court to the other trying to return the shots, and about the time I would get one shot over, another ball had already gone over the net on the other side of the court. So after that I made him reduce the speed and then I just worked on forehands, then backhands, and then vollies. Then i tried to work on my serve some too, but I was so tired i couldnt hit anything over the net. My entire t-shirt was drenched with sweat too...I know thats an appealing image...I was just proud of myself for working so hard. :) Anyway, so yesterday I woke up and was already sore from tennis the day before, and then after working in the yard all day yesterday, today I can hardly walk...and so I'm glad its raining. Of course today I will be doing some massive cleaning in my room. I've put it off for like 2-3 weeks now. I might even clean out the closet...O_O Well I'm gonna go turn some music on really loud and start the cleaning process which I'm sure is going to take all day just by looking at my room, plus the bathroom, plus my brother's room which is cluttered with all my college stuff I have to get packed up. Anyway, thats it for now. :-)
