Que pasa?
I am just sitting here at work, not really giving a shit about it anymore.
I had a meeting the other day about how I am not going to get a raise if I get hired on from temporary to permanent. That basically consisted of two of my supervisors sitting on one side of the table in an old empty room with me on the other side and them making up a bunch of shit that isn't true that I do wrong (without being able to provide any specific examples) so that they don't have to pay me more. They said I need to take on more self initiated responsibilities. I informed them that actually an entry level position for my job at any other company would make $10 an hour with no prior work experience in the field. I get paid $8. I told them if they want me to take on even more responsibilities that they need to pay me at least $12-$15 an hour. I do more than this job required of me when I first got hired on. God damn cheap bastards. There is no way to self initiate anything because when I ask anyone to teach me something new they get possessive of their job position since they have been working here for 25 years and say that I could not possibly understand their job unless I work here for a million years. When really it would take a couple of hours..sorry I'm not a mindless hick and I do have a brain...There are people that have been working here for 25 years that do not get paid more than 10 dollars an hour...that is sad (AND THEY'RE ON SALARY!!)
Justin walked out on Thursday. I told them I had a job interview and took off with him. We went swimming, it was fun...lol. His supervisor likes to drink on the job and he is a complete ass. He has been working here for 25 years in the warehouse and needless to say he is bitter. Can't really blame him though...well yeah you can but...y'know
So one of Justin's friends is trying to get me a job with him. He works in an office, his dad got him a job there. He said you really don't have to have much experience and that he gets paid $15 an hour. Plus we would work the same schedule with is 4 days a week 10 hour shifts and we could car pool. Trying to get Justin to apply there too but his resume is not as pretty. He is trying to get a job with his dad but his dad's company is waiting on a contract so they have some money to hire more people on.
College & 21st bday in August. I was suppose to be a senior in college in August...haha...
